The Black White & "Bling" Gala

You're Invited to the Premier Garner Event!

Last year we had our first ‘singular fund raiser’, the Black, White and Bling Gala, under the direction of Julie Clark and her incredible committee. It will be conducted again this Fall, under the direction of Nick Petrakis and the Rotary Ball Committee. This fundraiser netted over $10,000 to assist us greatly in underwriting our BackPack program for food for the designated ‘homeless’ children in our Garner area schools, and for scholarship resources for our graduating seniors. We have designated this year as ‘the year of the child’, and we will continue to emphasize children and youth in the years to come. More information will be forth-coming in the weeks ahead. Thank you all for supporting this venture, as one local put it, “This is one of the best things that has ever happen in Garner.” And when we invest in our children, we are making a significant down-payment on a certain future; and when that happens, it is always a ‘best thing to happen’.
